Ms Alex Jarvis complained to the Press Complaints Commission about an article that reported the death of a nine year-old boy, Kaian Burford. She considered that publication of Kaian's photograph was in breach of Clauses 3 (Privacy) and 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the photographs from the online article.
